Rep. Zachary Harvey Appointed as VTGOP Finance Chair

MONTPELIER, VT – VTGOP Chair Paul Dame announced today the appointment of Representative Zachary Harvey, of Castleton, as Finance Chair of Vermont’s Republican Party. In this role, Harvey will help lead the Party’s fundraising strategy and donor engagement efforts. In addition to his responsibilities as Finance Chair, Harvey will serve as a member of the Vermont GOP’s Executive Committee.
“I am thrilled to have Representative Harvey take on this key leadership role for the Vermont GOP,” said Chair Dame. “As we build on our current momentum, I am confident that his leadership, coupled with his experience in the private sector, uniquely positions him to grow the GOP’s donor network, strengthen grassroots fundraising efforts, and ensure Republican candidates have the resources they need to win.”
Representative Harvey proudly represents Rutland’s 3rd District in the Vermont House of Representatives, where he serves on the House Judiciary Committee. A fifth generation Vermonter, Harvey was born and raised in the Green Mountain State. During his decade-long career in financial services, he held various roles at the New York Stock Exchange and its parent, Intercontinental Exchange, a Fortune 500 technology and data services company. He began his career at Nasdaq, a global technology and exchange operator.
Harvey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Providence College. He has served on several advisory boards supporting his alma mater and various non-profit organizations.
